Abstract	In an effort to meet the societal demands for a better prepared workforce and the educational reform movements, such as the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001, school districts have begun to partner with post-secondary institutions. In particular, community colleges and high schools are working together to make education more affordable, more accessible, and more attractive by bridging the gap between high school and college. Early College Programs exist to meet these needs. Although information about the academic, social, and emotional impact of early college programs is available, there is little research that has dealt specifically with the general topic of school-college partnerships in relationship to the success and sustainability of early college programs. The purpose of this study was to examine the organizational partnership of the early college program between a community college and 25 rural school districts; and the organizational partnerships among them and attempt to identify and analyze the factors integral to the success and sustainability of the program. The results of this study were based on the perception of those individuals who were involved in the Early College Program during the 2008-2009 academic school year.
